Harshada Barve

Speech-Language Therapist and Audiologist

My Strengths

With a special focus on autism and praxis, I work as a facilitator who brings families into the heart of the
process. I believe the greatest outcomes are achieved when parents are heard, respected, and empowered, and I actively partner with families to build on their unique understanding of their child.

My Beliefs

I take a strengths-based approach that focuses on celebrating what each child can do and using their interests
as meaningful pathways for growth. I also recognize that every child develops on their own timeline, and I am
committed to providing the right support at the right time to help them thrive.

My Passion/Interest

I am deeply committed to neurodiversity-affirming care and early intervention, with a particular focus on
supporting individuals with social communication differences. I stay actively engaged with current research
and enjoy exploring how emerging technologies can make speech and language therapy more accessible and
inclusive for people of all ages.

My Qualification

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore.
Licence to practice from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
I am certified in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) and have completed the Natural Language
Acquisition (NLA) Competence Training Program.
Additionally, I am also a member of the Maharashtra branch of the Indian Speech and Hearing Association
(MISHA).
